Eggs

We are keeping a flock of about 100  laying hens whose eggs we will sell at farmers markets, as an added value product to our CSA members and to a local restaurant. They are mixed breeds but  the majority are Red Sex-Link, Americauna or Buff Orpington. They are extremely people oriented and until we set up their fenced run, they followed us… EVERYwhere. But now we have an amazing chicken house that Lars renovated from an old silage wagon. It allows us to move them around the farm so they can graze on fresh pasture.

Our beautiful eggs range in size and color because we have a mixed-breed laying flock.
